Vol. 1: causes; Vol. 2: A.D. 1914; Vol. 3: A.D. 1915; Vol. 4: A.D. 1916; Vol. 5: A.D. 1917; Vol. 6: A.D. 1918; Vol. 7: A.D. 1919. Vol. 1 has certificate showing that these books were specially made for Alexander R. Bolling, Captain, 22nd Infantry, United States Army, registered in the name of Margaret Josephine Bolling, daughter of Alexander R. Bolling. Vol. 1 also has a certificate of honor issued by the Presidential War Board that has a note to Captain Bolling from John J. Pershing. Vol. 1 pages are pulling away from cover at first few pages. Spine is well worn and torn. All covers are scuffed and lightly rubbed with bumped and slightly worn edges. Pages are browning. Other vol.'s are tighter. Vol. 1 has worst damage. All covers have gilt designs and lettering.
