During this intense decade, he reflected extensively on photography, developing a highly individual practice in the medium, simultaneously documentary and lyrical. This book reveals Hausmann's interwar photographic work in its entirety, and presents a detailed time line of his life. Raoul Hausmann, born 12. Juli 1886 in Vienna, died 1971 in Limoges.
