Bruno Heroux (1868-1944), Leipzig painter and graphic artist, his artistic education was from the Royal Academy of Graphic Arts in Leipzig (1886-1892), around 1900 he moved to Paris for a period of ten years, While there, he regularly exhibited his paintings and prints with the Salon des Artistes and won an award from that institution in 1906. Upon his return to Germany, he accepted the post of Professor of Fine Arts at the Leipzig Academy.
