Ferroni took up photography in 1948, under the guidance of Giuseppe Cavalli. His photographs are kept in the permanent collection of the Museum Folkwang in Subjektive Pictures of Essen and at the permanent collection of the Association Photo Misa in the Museum of Modern Art and Information of Senigallia.
