Brown tinted photographic reproduction of laundry facilities on the shore of the Laguna Pequeno lake. 3-7/8" x 8-7/8". A VG+ card. "Due to the lack of laundering facilities at that time it was common practice to ship washable clothes to Canton, CHina and Honolulu for laundering. This, of course, required many months of waiting for fresh linen. Spanish women of the settlement took their wash to Laguna Pequeno and the Little Lake was renamed Washwomen's Lagoon.".
