General wear, with 1/2" paper loss to spine ends. With California Immigrant Uniton stamp to upper right of front wrapper. Light staining to text-block. Small bit of biopredation to top margin of last 8 leaves [no text affected]. Withal, a VG copy of an uncommon item. A propaganda piece, published to encourage additional settlement in the state. Filled with pertinent data & factoids on the era.
