Hobart (Tas): Published by the Homoeopathic Pharmacy, 1883. 16mo. 4-7/8" x 3-1/8". 1st (& only) edition. [iii] - viii, 9 - 116 [= 114] pp. Last leaf a singleton, bound-in. Adverts interspersed. Printed light brown flexible cloth covers., A Fine copy. ¶ The publisher states at the beginning "Homeopathic medicines need so much care in their preparation that only those who have had special experience in the manufacture of them can be relied on to turn them out satisfactorily." So the treatments call for homeopathic medicines, which are available from this Homeopathic Pharmacy. Hence, you won't find recipes for, to cite an example, 'Croton' or 'China' [medicines used in the cure for 'Diarrhoea in Infants'], but rather, a treatment using these two compounds, which can be obtained from this Homeopathic Pharmacy. In this context, a useful booklet in noting what homeopathic medicine is used to treat a given ailment. Somewhat uncommon book on the subject: OCLC records 7 holdings, of which only 1 is in the US.
