The binding demonstrates a pleasant patination, and the inscription dated 1 June 1872 on the free end page adds charm. A digital image can be provided to help assess condition. Initially I thought the decorations on the front board were replicas of the Canterbury Cross which had been "discovered about 10 years before the dating on the end page. However, the crosses bear more resemblance to the traditional Cross pattée. Very Good/No Jacket. Offered for AUD 450.00 = appr.
