Good Condition/Poor. 425 grammes; X, 290 pages, last blank, list of illustrations, author's note and index. Black-and-white Photographic frontispiece of author. The text is illustrated with three black-and-white photographs and one black-and-white illustration. Dark red boards with gilt writing on the spine and gilt printers' cartouche to the lower spine edge. Red coloured tint to top paper edge. Bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. The cloth of the book has become somewhat rubbed and marked. The gilt writing on the spine has become also rubbed. The red tint of the top paper edge has almost faded completely away, and browning dust marks and foxing has occurred to all paper edges. Browning and foxing to the endpapers and browning to the internal pages as well. Plain text dust wrapper with blue and red decoration to the front panel with red writing on the front panel and spine. The dustwrapper is way awful! Heavy, heavy foxing and browning to the remains of the dustwrapper the spine has become darkened due to sun and staining and marking is also present. The front fold over panel is completely missing. There is a piece missing from the lower half of the front dustwrapper measuring 4.25 " x 2.5 "at its largest extremes. The dustwrapper corners are also chipped and pieces are missing. There are multiple chips and tears to the remains of the top dustwrapper edge and to the lower spine edge.
