Illustrated board showing a mediaeval couple against a white background with black writing on the front panel and spine. Minor bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the top book corners there is heavy bumping to the lower book corners. Shelfwear, insect activity and foxing to the lower book edges and a little rubbing to the top book edges. The white of the board has become quite yellow. Foxing to the top paper edge and previous owner's name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. Illustrated dustwrapper, saying illustration as for front board with white background in black writing on the front panel and spine. The dustwrapper is rubbed, faded and quite grubby. A little rubbing to the dustwrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine a few small close to tears to the top dustwrapper edge. There is foxing to the verso of the dustwrapper.
