Original brown ribbed cloth with blind stamped deocration on front cover and gilt illustration and stamped title on spine. Corner tips worn and wear to spine ends, small piece of spine cover missing on Vol I which includes part of title. Waterstain at bottom portion of pages, through page 7 of Vol. II, page rippling to both volumes and light foxing, gilt on spine bright and overall a VG used copy of very scarce to rare books in the 1st edition.
