Double frontis portraits of Lewis and Clark in each of the volumes; illustrated with maps, facsimiles 11 1/2 x 8. Bound in full green leather with gilt-stamped elaborate decorations in the incomperable Easton Press style on the covers. Four raised spine bands with gilt-stamped decorations and title in the panels. Green silk moire end papers and a bound-in silk book mark. All edges are gilt. There is a minor ripple to some of the pages in Vol. I, else both are in Fine Condition.
