A translation, by Beatrice Corrigan, of HISTORIA DI LIONBRUNO (Venice: Vindelinus de Spira, 1476), with introduction by the translater and note at rear by Judith St. John. Original ly published anonymously, now known to be by Cirino of Ancona, it was one of the most popular of the cantari, stories in rhymed octaves recited by storysingers all over Italy in the late 14th century.
