Chips to cloth at spine tips about 1/4 inch deep; old m ildew stains to covers; cracked rear inner hinge neatly reglued; some endpaper darkening from binding; ink name of original donor (John Knott) at top margin of title leaf and his contemporary Dublin bookplate to front pastedown; this is otherwise a VG copy, clean and unworn internally. A detailed source of information about the the great potato famine which was responsible for the Irish diaspora of those years.
