Decorated cloth stamped in black and grey, spine gilt lettered, pictorial cover label. pp 245, [1], (10, ads) + frontispiece with tissue guard and one other colour plate. Damp spots to rear cover; bit of foxing early and late; small dark spot to margin of a few leaves; else a VG tight and unworn copy, attractive. A religious novel for girls set near Sydney, Australia. The [1903, R.T.S.] first edition had three plates and identified the illustrator, Raymond Potter. This edition may be a title in the Every Girl's Bookshelf series, though it is not so identified in the book or ads.
