Spine lightly sunned, with gilt title lettering flaked away but still readable (black outline); some flaking to gilt on front cover (three letters of "Little"); damp spots to rear cover; cracked inner hinges neatly repaired; colour frontispiece has tiny chips to fore edge, light soil spot to fore margin (well away from image); occasional mild soil spotting in text margins; ink gift inscription on blank recto of frontispiece; else a VG tight copy, attractive.
