Frontispiece and 13 other colour plates inserted, numerous line drawings in text. Slight foxing to lower spine; front covers a bit bowed; foxing to page e dges and occasionally in text; mildew browning to inner edge of endpapers and first and last few leaves; moderate wear to outer corners of covers; Xmas, 1934, ink inscription to front free endpaper; generally a VG copy otherwise. Dust jacket has lar ge chips and tears - poor. Canadian issue of the this English girls' annual, with contributions by numerous other authors besides those listed on the title page. The last story is "A Cold Plunge. A Story of Ice-boating in Canada" by M.B. Sanford, an d Mary B. Sanford contributes another story set in the Canadian north,"The Madness of Shawnagi".
