Description: Full page vignette with allegorical representation.Minerva receives a young man and leads him towards the personification of God's commandments. Above her flies a putto with a flame above its head and a bell in its hand. At her feet a reading putto rests against a cornucopia and a putto with laurel wreath stands leaning on a globe. To the left of Minerva is a portrait bust of Hugo de Groot. The scene is crowned by a coat of arms surrounded by the text: Illustra nos sol justitiae. To the left and right of this busts of Justinian and Ulpian. In the background a view of Utrecht.With the address of the publisher below: TRAJECTI ad RHENUM Apud ABR. V.
