Description: Plate from a set of six plates featuring a large decorative vase pouring water on a basin in a gallery. A page is taking water from the spring. In the same direction as Le Pautre's original, within a highly decorative frame. Numbered at bottom right: 6, not signed. Etching on paper with margins; plate mark: 144 x 218 mm, total: 212 x 323 mm; some soil and smudges along the margins, otherwise in good condition. On the left margin are two holes reminding of the former binding. Ornament prints in the Rijksmuseum, vol. 1, p. 337, cat.nr. 1963 (copy).
