Description: River landscape with some houses and farmers on the left. On the right background the tower of a church. In the center some trees. Very finely drawn. Within a double-lined frame. Monogrammed on the verso: M.J.S.On the front of the passepartout, on the bottom left corner in pencil: M.J. van der Schaft / 19e eeuw. Black chalk on a folded sheet of paper, mounted in passepartout. Total: 310 x 198 mm, folded: 155 x 198 mm; the tape employed for the mounting is rather aggressive and leaves traces on the top margin of the drawing. Otherwise in great condition.
