Description: From a set of prints presenting birds, here are a cock bustard standing, facing right in the foreground. He has long plumes curving down from the corners of its beak, the hen stands on the right, looking downwards.On verso collectors'marks: Gustav Friedrich Konstantin Parthey (1798-1872) (L. 2014), the famous collector of Hollar.[NL] Uit een reeks prenten met vogels, hier een staande haanbuizerd, naar rechts op de voorgrond. Hij heeft lange pluimen die vanuit de hoeken van zijn snavel naar beneden krullen, de hen staat rechts, naar beneden kijkend.
