Inscribed below: Le Marchand de Ratafiat / J.J. Haid et filius excudit AV.The Ratafia is a liquor that can be either a fortified wine or a fruit-based beverage. It was commonly made in Italy, France, Spain and Southern Germany. The plate is numbered as 2. Mezzotint on paper, trimmed within plate mark; total: 216 x 163 mm; mounted on cardboard. On verso, on the lower margin, some restorations.
