Title: Crowned coat of arms (wapen met kroon).
Description: Crowned monogram flanked by Minerva and Justitia (Vrouwe Justitie) and three putti with allegorical attributes. To the left Minerva with a lead in her hand (stands for moderation), on the top of the head an owl (wisdom) and in the hand an olive branch (peace). Behind her a putto with a snake biting its own tail (Ouroboros), the symbol of eternity. On the right Justice, with the scale. For her a crane (symbol for vigilance). Behind her two putti, one of which has a mirror and a snake in the hands (caution) and the other a palm branch and a trumpet (symbol of peace). Signed on the bottom left: 'J.v.Schley del. et sculp. 1746'. Etching and engraving on paper, trimmed within plate; total: 84 x 155 mm; in very good condition.
