Filled with wonderful illustrations throughout. Some youthful ministrations: title written small to spine in ink, ever-so faint erasure of a orange square to ffep, likewise orange pencil crayon(?) to margin / gutter of frontispiece-title page. Closed tear to head of ffep. Else bright and clean (remarkably so, given the artistic inclinations of the young reader who once thumbed this tome. Illustrated be "E.W.B.".
