It teaches the reader to approach a book from several narrowing perspectives, developing a quick and full overview of the work. Scheele then shares the techniques of "PhotoReading" where one scans the entire book with an unfocused gaze in order to transfer it photographically into the right brain. He follows up with the development of recall of this memory, along with continued closer analysis of the book as needed. Very promising as a tool to digest and integrate large amounts of information.
