"A new edition with alterations and additions to 1836," 8vo, pp. 518; 2 handcolored folding maps (showing North America & the USA) and a few illustrations in text; contemporary spotted calf, gilt paneled spine, black morocco label on spine, the whole much worn, rubbed, and scuffed, both maps browning on versos, the second with 4" tear cutting across the lower portion of the 25 states depicted, without loss. Not noted in Sabin, which lists an earlier edition of 1832.
