The Hanging Floating and Cantilevered Show
John Gibson Gallery. 1967, First Edition. Cardstock. Ephemera, When the Gallery was at 27 E. 67th Street, New York, Gibson issued this 3 ¼" x 5 ½" invitation postcard to the very first Gibson exhibition (verified by the man himself), described on the card as "an aerial perspective of sculpture by Andre, Christo, de Suvero/ Grosvenor, Judd, Lewitt/ Morris, Myers, Oldenburg, Smithson, Snelson, Warhol. The card is addressed to the artist Philip Pavia and postmarked 1967. The address has been crossed out and corrected in pencil; the card is slightly discolored to the edges, but overall in near-Fine condition. Unique-and I rarely get to say that-and practically a snapshot of the year all by itself. Near-Fine/Issued Without Jacket.

Offered for US$ 250.00 by: Ruggles Books - Book number: 2838
