Miss Joan Joshua, the translator, has increased its value for English readers by inserting occasional and explanatory or comparative footnotes. In blue cloth bindings in unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, a trifle rubbed. There is some evidence of previous damp staining to all volumes. Dustwrappers are generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Spines are faded.
