Containing volumes one and two, the works were published in New York and contain critical notices of rare, curious and valuable old books, with various decorative pages throughout. In half-calf binding with gilt detailing and paper-covered boards. Externally sound, there is significant wear to the boards, joints, extremities and backstrip, as well as cracking to the joints and a peeling spine label. The hinges are also tender. Internally, the pages are firmly bound but are irregularly cut, age-toned and lightly spotted throughout. Good Only . Ill.: None. Good Only .
