Description: London, James Nisbet, 1825. Leather. A religious text by Reverend Thomas Brookes. A scarce work. A pocket sized, full leather volume, with gilt detailing to the spine. This is a religious text, intended for young women and men. This volume has green, marbled pastedowns and end papers. There is some wear to the extremities, including rubbing to the corners of the boards and fading and cracking to the spine. The rear board and all internal pages are securely attached, although the front board is attached loosely by the cords. The majority of the binding is tight and firm, although the cords are visible between the front, blank-end papers. Internally the pages are generally clean and bright, apart from the occasional mild handling mark and very minor brown spot. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
