Containing the Old and New Testaments "according to the most approved copies of the authorized version", as well as critical and explanatory notes and references, the work is illustrated handsomely with thirty-nine plates. In decorative morocco binding with gilt detailing. Externally quite smart, there is wear to the extremities, joints and backstrip, with some cracking to joints and tenderness to hinges. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are generally bright and clean throughout, aside from the usual foxing to endpages are illustrations, with the odd spot throughout.
