Alice A Bailey - The Rays and the Initiations Volume V a Treatise on the Seven Rays

Title: The Rays and the Initiations Volume V a Treatise on the Seven Rays
Description: London , Lucis Publishing Company, 1965. Cloth. An esoteric work by Alice A Bailey. This work discusses Bailey's views and treatise on the occult concept of the seven rays. The concept of the seven rays has been a philosophy of the Aryan people in both Western culture and in India since at least 6th century BCE. H P Blavatsky was the first to introduce the teachings in the late 19th century. Both Bailey and the Church Universal and Triumphant assign different colours and Masters to each of the seven rays. Bailey believes the Masters live in immortal bodies at a residence on the physical plane at the indicated location. This work explains the seven rays in more detail which include Will or Power, Love-Wisdom, Adaptability, Devotion and more. Alice A Bailey was a writer of several theosophical works. She was also the first writers to use the term New Age. Bailey described her works as having been telepathically dictated to her by a Master of Wisdom, referred to as 'The Tibetan' or by the initials D L&apos. Her writings have several similarities to those of Madame Blavatsky. In a full cloth binding with gilt stamping to the front board and spine.
