No. XLV, September. The Dublin University Magazine was an independent literary cultural and political magazine. It started out as a magazine of political commentary but increasingly became devoted to literature. In a green cloth binding with paper covered boards, and gilt title detail to the spine. Externally, sound with some rubbing; a few handling marks, bumping to the extremities, and a little loss to the paper covering the boards. There are small tears at the head and tail, very slight loss to the head, and fading to the spine. The hinges are slightly strained. Internally, the binding is strained in places with the pages bright and clean; only scattered spotting and a few handling marks. There is an ink number inscription to the top right hand corner of the front free endpaper. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
