Thomas Christopher Banks was a British genealogist and lawyer, known for assisting several claimants to dormant peerages based on loose and tenuous evidence. Banks was also known for fabricating pedigrees to support these claims. This work served as evidence in the case of Lewis Dymoke on his claim to the Barony of Marmion. Rebound in a cloth binding. Externally, in excellent condition with just some light marks to the boards. Exeter City Library bookplate to the front pastedown. No library markings. Internally, firmly bound.
