Jacques-Bénigne Bossuet ( 27 September 1627 - 12 April 1704) was a French clergyman, preacher and author In a half cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, some shelfwear and slight marking and sunning to the boards. Front hinge failed and rear hinge strained. Internally, generally firmly bound although slightly strained in places. Slight age toning but generally clean with just some scattered spots or marks. Slight tidemark to frontispiece. Copperplate ink signature to titlepage Good Only . Ill.: None. Good Only .
