The first part of the book, dealing with Elizabeth Cottage, is not, I fancy, likely to be challenged.'An interesting and well researched study into the private life and romances of Charles Dickens. Illustrated with two monochrome plates and a map. Collated, complete.  In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. There is some wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper, this includes a few open tears to the rear and a few small tears to the extremities, and light age toning. To the binding, there is some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed . Ill.: Not Stated.
