In half calf binding with marbled covered boards. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and spines and marks to the boards. Previous owner inscription to the page after the front free endpaper dated 1909 of all volumes. Front hinge has failed to volumes ii, iv. Front hinges are weak of vols i and vi. Front free endpaper of vol vi is loose. Front board is loosening from the spine to vol ii.
