Written by His Imperial and Royal Highness the Late Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria, heir apparent to the imperial throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire from birth. In 1889, he died in a suicide pact with his mistress Mary Vetsera at the Mayerling hunting lodge. The ensuing scandal made international headlines. Translated by C. G. Danford. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, sound with slight rubbing to the extremities. Minor shelf wear and bumping. Internally, firmly bound.
