Uniformly bound in the original parchment boards. Externally, smart with some shelf wear to the edges and spine. Spines are darkened. Cockling and offsetting to the paste-downs. Handling marks and the odd spot to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Internally, binding strained. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd handling mark and spot throughout, slightly heavier towards the front. Pages age-toned. Offsetting to the bottom of pages 3-6 of volume two. Very Good .
