With three pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear of volume two. With a small, crossed through, ownership inscription from a member of the Vitelleschi family, to both title pages. Uniformly bound in the original parchment boards. Externally, smart with some shelf wear to the edges and spine. Spines are darkened. Cockling and offsetting to the paste-downs. Handling marks and the odd spot to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Internally, binding strained. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd handling mark and spot throughout, slightly heavier towards the front. Pages age-toned. Offsetting to the bottom of pages 3-6 of volume two. Very Good .
