First edition of The Story of Port Sunlight Its Work and Its People by the Lever Brothers Limited in the original publisher's paper wraps. An interesting souvenir booklet on the development of the Lever Brothers factory and the town of Port Sunlight. Port Sunlight is a model village in Merseyside. It was built by Lever Brothers to accomodate workers in their soap factory, the name of the town deriving from their popular soap 'Sunlight&apos. Densely illustrated throughout and includes a page of colour advertisements to the rear. A scarce edition with only two held in libraries. Undated, dated through Jisc and the indication on page 44 regarding 'the late Lord Leverhulme', who died in 1925. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front board.
