Play in five acts by English dramatist Harley Barker-Granville, written in 1903-5 and first performed at the Royal Court Theatre in 1905 featuring Mabel Hackney, revived later in the 1960s. Samuel French described this piece as "a witty,  impeccably crafted portrait of a family in the midst of a surprisingly modern moral dilemma". A scarce volume, the second impression of the stand-alone edition, also published along with 'The Marrying of Ann Leete' and 'Waste' in one volume bound in cloth. With advertisements internally to rear wrap. Pagination begins to p.83 as called for. In the original wraps. In the original publisher's wraps.
