Translated by William Archer, Mary Morrison and Diana White, from the original Danish. Each volume is complete with the half title page. With a bookplate for one, 'Peter M. Scott', to the front paste-downs of both volumes. In quarter morocco binding. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear. Bookplate to the front paste-downs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age-toned but otherwise very bright and clean with just a few scattered spots towards the front of the books. Closed tear to page thirteen of volume one. The odd light handling mark throughout. Some loss to the top of page 401 in volume two, and to the edge of page 427, however this does not affect the text. Fine . Ill.: None. Fine .
