Monuments explored include those of Eleanor, Queen of Edward the First, Thomas Beauchamp, Ralph Neville and Sir Anthony Browne. Edward Blore was a nineteenth century landscape and architectural artist from Derby. In 1826, the date of this publication, he was appointed Surveyor of the Fabric of Westminster Abbey. He is best known for his completion of John Nash's design of Buckingham Palace. Collated complete. In half calf binding. Externally, smart with some rubbing to the extremities. A few marks to the boards. Light offsetting along the edges of the free endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages slightly age-toned. Text is bright and clear.
