In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Bumping to back strip head and tail, resulting in losses of paper, with discolouration to back strip and board perimeters. Closed tear in paper to front joint. Ink stain to centre of front board, with amateur colouring to rear board. Front hinge starting, with board holding firm. Rear endpaper adhered to rear pastedown, with significant former owner's drawings to front pastedown and free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Inscription to head of title page.
