In this work, Brodrick gives an account of the history of Merton College and brief biographies of the wardens and fellows of this college. The Honourable George Charles Brodrick (1831-1903) was an historian and author who was himself Warden of Merton College, Oxford. In publisher's original cloth binding. Externally sound, with wear to the extremities, the spine and the joints. Spine is slightly sunned; the cloth has split twice vertically, and there are a couple of losses to the head and tail. Colour and gilt to the boards are still bright. The rear joint is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally clean, with scattered spots throughout, more so to the first pages. Offsetting to the free end papers. Folding plate is slightly creased. Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Good .
