In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright with the odd spot. Author's ink inscription to the half-title and to the plate facing page 196.
