This work offers a memoir of British working class poet, Robert Bloomfield, who wrote extensively of his home county of Suffolk and the surrounding areas. Brayley describes the various areas, including Sapiston, Whittlebury Forest and Shooter's Hill, to name a few, with many accompanying engravings.Containing a previous owner's ink signature to the front free-endpaper. In contemporary half calf binding with marbled boards. Externally, some shelf wear to the boards and rubbing and bumping to the extremities.
