The Honourable George T.O. Bridgeman, an Anglican clergyman and antiquary. Containing a letter from the author adhered to the front pastedown addressed from his home, 'The Hall, Wigan&apos. Also containing a handwritten genealogy by the author to the rear of the book, detailing the genealogy of the Bridgeman family. This copy came from the library at Julians Park, Hertfordshire, the previous home of Audrey Pleydell-Bouverie (1902-1968). She was an English socialite and through her mother was the illegitimate granddaughter of King Edward VII.  In full cloth binding. Externally, some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Slight rubbing to the joints. Letter signed by the author adhered to the front pastedown. Handwritten genealogical notes by the author to the rear free-endpapers. Internally, spine has detached from the text block, and the text block is very delicately attached to the rear hinge. The pages are generally firmly bound. Pages are uncut and there is some light spotting to the first and last few pages, though the rest of the pages are bright and clean. Good Only .
