The dust wrapper is very smart with some shelf wear and a slight edge wear, the spine is slightly rubbed; with a minor closed tear to the front wrap, tape repaired internally, not affecting the externals. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with thirty three fascinating photographs taken by John Gay, and maps of Kent to the endpapers drawn by Leslie S. Haywood.
