The Orchid Trilogy was his most well-received and popular work.Illustrated throughout with vignette illustrations, as well as a number of plates. Complete with a very smart, unclipped dust wrapper.A first edition. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with the spine a little faded. Dust wrapper has the odd spot internally, but is excellent externally, with just a touch of wear to the head of the spine and hinge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
